Vegetarian Fish Curry

Ingredients

 

1 Vegetarian Fish (slice into 8-10 slices)

1 can Tomato and Onion Mix

2 Tablespoons oil

1 teaspoon crushed ginger and garlic mix

2.5 teaspoons chilli powder

1 teaspoon tumeric powder

1/2 teaspoon garam masala

1/2 teaspoon dhania (coriander) powder

1/2 teaspoon jeera powder

60 g tamarind

60 ml water

2 Tablespoons lemon juice

2 green chillies

 

 

Method

Add tamarind to water, and remove the seeds.

Heat Oil

Add spices and ginger and garlic

Add tomato and onion mix (blend before using if you want a smooth consistency)

Add lemon juice, tamarind and green chillies.

Cook on low heat for about 10 minutes.

Add the vegetarian fish and simmer for 10-15 minutes.

Garnish with coriander if desired.
