Plain naan Roti - Indian Flatbread

Ingredients

 

300 g cake flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup warm buttermilk or  (1 Tablespoon vinegar + 235 ml milk)

 

 

Method

Sift dry ingredients twice.

Add buttermilk and mix well.

Knead into a doft dough.

Cover with moistened paper towel and set aside for at least 30 minuites.

Divide into 6 portions.

Shape into balls, flatten, then roll out.

Cook on a non stick surface.

When slightly browned opn one side, turn and allow other side tocook.
